Rotherham United defender, Ryan Cresswell says there is still work to be done after their two friendlies so far ended in a win and a loss.

Speaking about the friendly games, Cress told The Advertiser, ‘They say the result doesn`t matter. But, on a personal level it does.`

After the loss to the Owls on Tuesday night, the twenty-three year old said, ‘I think we had the best chance in the first half and should have gone one up. As a centre-half, to concede two goals from set plays is massively disappointing. It should never happen.

‘Fitness wise we looked good and, at the end, I thought we looked stronger and fitter than they did. It was the final ball that let us down and we have to work on that before the start of the season.`
