With the Millers being gameless this weekend we had time to take a look at what everyone else around us was doing

Championship Results
Friday
Norwich 0-1 Middlesbrough

Saturday
Wolves 1-1 Ipswich
Blackburn 3-3 Nottingham Forest
Blackpool 0-1 Fulham
Bournemouth 2-2 Sheffield Wednesday
Brentford 2-2 Bolton Wanderers
Cardiff 0-0 Millwall
Charlton 2-1 Leeds
Huddersfield 4-4 Derby
Watford 1-0 Birmingham
Wigan 2-1 Brighton

Cardiff were at home to Millwall who, going into the weekend, were five points behind the Millers and I think all Rotherham fans were hoping that the Welshmen would get all three points. Well, it didn’t quite happen but at least Millwall only got one point from the game.

Brighton could have done us a favour in their visit to the DW Stadium and get something from their game against Wigan. Unfortunately for the Millers, though good for themselves, Wigan got the winner in the final ten minutes of the game which took them within one point of Millwall.

Fulham, who going into their game away at already relegated Blackpool, were two points and one place above Rotherham and their one-nil away win and Brighton’s loss meant that the Cottagers jumped over Brighton on goal difference.

Bottom of Table
18. Fulham 44 -20 49

22. Millwall 43 -30 40
23. Wigan 44 -21 39
24. Blackpool 44 -54 25
