The Millers got off to a poor start on Good Friday being two goals down at Birmingham before half-time and although they did manage to pull one back they came away from St Andrews with nothing. After the first round of the Easter games we saw Millwall`s win over Charlton move them above Wigan who narrowly lost to Middlesbrough and Rotherham still just above the dotted line with forty points.

With Fulham not playing until Tuesday the win at home to Brighton saw Rotherham move to twentieth place although Fulham`s draw tonight away at Charlton saw them push the Millers back down a place. Wigan losing at home to Derby on Easter Monday sees them still with thirty-five points. Due to their opponents Blackburn Rovers having a cup replay against Liverpool tomorrow Millwall have a game in hand of the teams around them and are seven points worse off than Rotherham.

The Millers win on Monday afternoon saw Blackpool become the first casualties and destined to start next season in League One and it also brought Rotherham`s opponents Brighton back down in the mix at the bottom.
