Rotherham United Chairman, Tony Stewart told Radio Sheffield that he will start to interview for a new manager on Monday.

Saying that there had been more than thirty applicants, Mr Stewart said, ‘We’ve got to have the right person to do the job. Anyone manager coming into a job, especially at Rotherham United, know the demands are pretty high. We want people to get us from A to Z as quickly as possible.’

Meanwhile Mr Stewart has also said that Andy Scott‘s failure with the Millers was ‘illogical’.

‘The thing he did in making the club more professional was very impressive but it didn’t appear on the pitch. Stats don ‘t lie. He did it at Brentford but unfortunately he couldn’t do it for us and the board felt we needed a change.’
