Rotherham United Chairman Tony Stewart says he believes the right move is to give Paul Warne the Manager’s job until the end of the season.

Speaking to The Rotherham Advertiser the Millers Chairman said, ‘It was the consensus of the board that Paul be given the job until the end of the season. He has proved that he’s go the support of the players and also the fans.

‘We feel that Paul is clearly the best option so we won’t be looking elsewhere. He’s the right man for the job.

‘We need to formalise things and that’ll be in a few weeks time, once the intensity of the Christmas break is out of the way. It’s just a matter of dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s.’

Warney took over as Caretaker Manager at the end of October when Kenny Jackett resigned after just thirty-nine games in charge.
