Rotherham United Chairman Tony Stewart is confident that the six-match stadium ban that the Football League have imposed on his Manager Steve Evans, for an incident that happened before he joined the Millers, will not effect the team.

Speaking to the Yorkshire Post Mr Stewart said, ‘We accept the verdict and will get on with it.

‘We’ve got all the technology to be of use with regards to Steve being able to watch the matches and monitor performance. Probably what Steve will have to do is have a team chat away from the stadium and he has a good back-room team so it will have minimal effect at all.

‘Steve`s a positive guy and we`ve got a good team and have invested well and feel it will be an enterprising season. We`re getting some good crowds and good support and we are confident of success.’
