Rotherham United Chairman Tony Stewart admits that he is disappointed at the Millers form in the early part of the season but still insists that he believes that Manager Steve Evans is the right man for the job.

Speaking to Radio Sheffield Mr Stewart said, ‘I believe that Steve and his team of people are the right group to get this club promoted. We speak regularly and he is passionate about delivering what we want for this club.`

Going on to speak about the players, Mr Stewart said, ‘I go on record as saying that the team we have on the pitch at the moment is the best that we’ve ever had.

‘There’s a lot to be done and I think it’s about us demonstrating the ability that we have.`

So the Chairman has given the Manager the ‘dreaded vote of confidence`.
