Rotherham United Chairman, Denis Coleman was frustrated this week with the Derbyshire Police.

With Rotherham and Chesterfield both being knocked out of the FA Cup they have a free Saturday on 1st December and both clubs were keen to switch the game from the Wednesday night to that Saturday.

But it seems that the Derbyshire Police wouldn’t play ball.

Speaking to The Advertiser, the Chairman said, ‘A Saturday derby would have been better for both sets of fans and the crowd would have been bigger.

‘Chesterfield are in the same sort of financial situation as us so it would have been better for them too.

‘I’m frustrated because the Police can take FA Cup replays with only ten days notice so why can’t they do the same with league games?’
