Rotherham United’s Tom Cahill has been champing at the bit for most of the season but was recently given a chance in the first team and has been there ever since.

Speaking to the Official Site he said the only thing he feels is missing from his performances are goals, ‘I think once I get that first goal then the rest will start to fly in.’

Speaking about playing alongside Ryan Taylor, Cahill said, ‘I enjoy playing up front with Ryan and we have played quite a few times together for the reserves.’

He also said that he thought the announcement on Friday that formal bids had been offered for the club helped the teams performance on Saturday. ‘A few weeks back we were all trying to keep each others morale up but when things are starting to look a little brighter off the field it’s not a coincidence that things on the field pick up.’

Talking about his personnal goal for next season he said, ‘I want to nail down a regular place and be more consistent in front of goal.’
