Rotherham United could be without Stephen Brogan until next year.

The midfielder, who was an influential player at the start of last season for the Millers, broke his leg in February against MK Dons. The player is recovering but probably not as quickly as at first thought he would.

Speaking to Radio Sheffield, manager, Mark Robins, said, ‘There were complications because he had compartment syndrome which is potentially life threatening. I think we are probably looking at him coming back in the new year.’

At the forum on Wednesday evening, Robins told the people there that Brogan was working very hard and that he would be as strong as he was before the accident.
