Rotherham United Assistant Manager, John Breckin was pleased after the win against Aldershot today.

Speaking to the Official Site, he said, ‘It’s nice to come here and get one over on them after Aldershot have caused us problems this season.’

After seeing Reuben Reid’s goal, Breck admitted, ‘I was a little surprised. We always tell the strikers to hit the target because you can’t always tell what is going to happen.’

Danny Harrison went off after thirty minutes with a head injury and Breckin said, ‘Danny had to go to the local hospital to have stitches in a cut to his lip and the inside of his mouth.’

After Drewe Broughton picked up his third booking in as many matches, Breck said about him, ‘Drewe is a physical player and I thought the booking he received was harsh. We took him off because we can’t afford to come to places like Aldershot and have a man sent off.

‘We are on a good run at the moment and we want to win as many as we can and finish as high as possible.’
