Rotherham United Assistant Manager, John Breckin insists that the players still have something to play for.

Speaking to MillersWorld, Breck was asked if it was hard to motivate the players and he said, ‘The shirt should motivate them. The lads out of contract are playing for a contract and the ones who are moving on are out to impress any scouts watching. We’ve three games left and it’s up to the players to show us what they can do.

‘We were disappointed with both goals on Saturday that we gave away. One or two of the lads weren’t up to their usual standard and we’ve let them know that.

‘Micky Cummins has come through his operation alright and he’ll be OK for the start of pre-season. We’ve played a lot of games recently and it might be that for tonight’s visit of Morecambe we will maybe make one or two changes. But we will be leaving the line-up until just before kick-off.’
