Rotherham United Chairman, Tony Stewart has put Assistant Manager, John Breckin in charge of tomorrow’s League Two encounter with Chesterfield at Don Valley, after Manager, Mark Robins was given ‘garden leave’ on Thursday.

Breck began his footballing career with the Millers back in the 1971/2 season as a left-back and was there for more than eleven years before a disagreement with then manager, Emlyn Hughes when he moved to Bury.

Breck isn’t new to managing Rotherham as he was briefly in charge when they were between managers in 1987. He was assistant manager under Ronnie Moore before coming back to be Mark Robins’ number two in 2007.

All at Vital Rotherham wish you well for tomorrow’s game, Breck!
