Rotherham United have brought in John Breckin to the cold from his warm job in hospitality to be Paul Warne’s number two with Radio Sheffield saying he will help Warne and Matty Hamshaw.

It won’t be the first time Breck has been a number two at Rotherham, in fact, he’s quite an old hand at it as he did the job under Phil Henson, Ronnie Moore and Mark Robins.

Breck played left-back for the Millers in the 70’s and 80’s helping them win promotion from Division Four to Three and then Three to Two.

In the last few seasons he has been helping out in the hospitality at the New York Stadium.

Welcome back to the dugout Breck – in my humble opinion it’s the right move!
