Rotherham United Manager Neil Redfearn says that the players he`s inherited seem to be an ‘upbeat` group who work really hard.`

Saying they seem to be a jovial lot who enjoy training the Millers Boss told The Advertiser, ‘They listen and they want to get better.

‘The problem is that sometimes when we have a session we meticulously plan their workloads and timings but then we have to get them back in because they want to stay out there and do extra. They are a good group to work with.

‘We`ve given them responsibility, ownership and made it a little bit more about them. We`ve given them a bit of belief which I think is everything. We are opening their eyes to what they are capable of.

‘If you`re a sportsman and you`ve got belief then you get confidence and the chances are then you are going to be successful.`

Perhaps it`s me but in the last couple of games the players seemed to have flagged a bit in the final twenty minutes or so of the match. Of course, we had played three games in less than a week which won`t have helped but after a week to get ready I`d like to think that we can hold something back and end on energy tomorrow.
