Rotherham United Manager, Mark Robins, has been put top of the bookies list to become the new manager of Norwich City after Glenn Roeder was sacked earlier today.

Robins played for Norwich in the early 90’s and played an important role in some of the club’s successes including helping them to qualify and finish third in the UEFA Cup and he is still popular in that part of Norfolk.

After being Assistant Manager of the Millers under Alan Knill, he became temporary manager after Knill was sacked with the position being made permanent in April 2007.
