Rotherham United`s Assistant Manager Kevin Blackwell told Radio Sheffield that he is particularly pleased with the defenders at the club.

‘When we came in they were letting in three`s or four`s and we told them if it carried on like that then we`d be relegated,` Kevin said.

‘And when we were looking at how we could move the team forward we had to look at the defence and we now look very well organised.

‘Everybody knows their roles. Whether it`s defending a throw-in or corners to one v ones and if we`re attacking how we deal with their players if they counter on us.

‘And the players have bought into that and the confidence is growing. From Campy (Lee Camp ) who`s been outstanding although because of the way the defence has been playing he hasn`t had a lot to do. But, for me, that stands you out even more as a goalkeeper when you`ve not got a lot to do but then have to pull off a top class save and you do it well that shows how hard he`s concentrating. So with Campy behind the back four even if there has been a slip-up he`s been brilliant at getting us out of it.`
