Rotherham United`s Assistant Manager Kevin Blackwell has nothing but praise for striker Matt Derbyshire.

Matt has scored seven goals this season, the last one coming on Tuesday night against Bristol City.

‘His first touch on Tuesday was absolutely sublime,` Kevin told Andy Giddings of Radio Sheffield. ‘And that set him up for the finish where he had to lob the goalkeeper, take the pace of it, drop it under the bar all on the move.

‘If that had been done by a Premier League player they`d have still been talking about it this morning. It was absolutely brilliant.`

We were talking about Matt Derbyshire on Tuesday and we all agreed that his goals are usually something special. The one against The Robins was no exception. While we were still thinking is he going to get that he`d done what he had to do and put it in the back of the net.
