Rotherham United Manager Neil Warnock says that forgotten striker Luciano Becchio could still have a part to play this season.

In his second spell with Rotherham the Argentinian has managed just two outings since re-joining in January, both times coming off the bench, before injury stopped him in his tracks.

His first time with the Millers was last season when he was on loan from Norwich City when he scored twice in five appearances before a nasty heel injury saw him back at Carrow Road.

Becchio has had a bout of illness this week with the Millers Boss saying, ‘He is back in training but had a couple of days off with sickness so I can’t see how he would get in the side at the moment.

‘He has trained ever so well and I’ve been pleased with him and we could have done with him at Ipswich but he just wasn’t ready.’
