Rotherham United have had confirmation from Blackpool that Marcus Bean CAN be included in the squad for tonight’s Carling Cup clash with Sheffield Wednesday, says The Star.

Bean joined from Blackpool last week on a months loan, although that can be added to if necessary. The club are just waiting for confirmation that he is OK to play after suffering from a stomach virus this week.

The Manager, Mark Robins, said the team are raring to go, ‘we had a good session yesterday and there is a good feel about the place.’

Robins went on to say, ‘At the time the draw was made it gave everyone at the club a huge lift and it was something positive to look forward to. Then the game got picked for television and it seemed the start of better things to come.

‘There should be near enough a full house tonight and the atmosphere will be good.’

Tickets will be on sale until 7.15pm tonight BUT buyers MUST be already on the club’s database.

Wednesday still have tickets left for the Community Stand.

REMEMBER – the game will go to extra time and penalties if needed
