Rotherham United forward David Ball says that all the lads are in ‘good spirits’ after the away win at Blackpool on Saturday.

Speaking to the Official Site the twenty-seven year old said, ‘Coming off the back of the win at Blackpool, it has got everyone in good spirits again.

‘We have been a little disappointed with recent home results, because we want our home to be a fortress. It is equally important this weekend that we try and get another three points and whilst Plymouth are near the bottom, we know that any game in this league is tough.

‘To compete at the top, strong home form is paramount. We had that kind of home form at the start of the season, so there is no reason why we can’t achieve it again.’

David scored both goals in Saturday’s two-one win at Bloomfield Road bringing his total to three league and one cup goal since joining the Millers in the summer. And I’m sure there will be more to come.
