Rotherham United Manager Paul Warne says that although he could freshen the team up for tomorrow nights game against Bradford City, the fact that Saturday is a blank day on the Millers footballing calendar it’s not imperative that he does.

Speaking on Freeview iFOLLOW Warney said, ‘We are looking at a couple of things.’

So what do we think those ‘couple of things’ are?

Personally (and I know I’m not a Manager, nothing near) I’d leave it mostly as it was on Saturday. Anthony Forde played the best game of football, especially in the second half, that I think I’ve seen him in a Rotherham shirt. Up front David Ball had a great game (again, my opinion), his running off the ball was excellent and his passing was top drawer.

And the Gaffer might think that Joe Mattock has scored his ‘goal for the season’ and drop him to the bench – but I very much doubt that! (After all he owes us a goal for last season!)

Of course, the game did change when new boy Michael Smith and winger Joe Newell came on – so maybe Warney is thinking of starting those two for the Yorkshire derby?

What do you think?

I’d start with the 11 that finished the game on saturday but revert to the starting 11 if it’s not working against Bradford, with JCH for a big finish

Well we can only try that can’t we – as you say, it’s changing things if it’s not looking right that I think Warney has learned to do these past few weeks
