Rotherham United, as we know, are on the look out for a new Manager and there’s been plenty of names bandied about the media and social sites as to who that man might be.

Chairman Tony Stewart has told us the sort of man he wants – someone who has managed at Championship level or above being one of the main things on his wish list.

But now that Louis van Gaul has gone from Manchester United could there be a new name in the frame?

No I’m not talking about the Dutchman but what about his Assistant Ryan Giggs?

We understand that if, as expected, Jose Mourinho is named as the new man in charge at Old Trafford that Ryan Giggs probably won’t be staying and it’s been reported that he wants to branch out into management himself. And that could be a good thing for the Millers.

OK he’s not exactly managed in the Championship but he has been second in command and caretaker Manager for one of the best teams in the country and will have learned a lot from arguably the best Manager in recent British history in Sir Alex Ferguson.

And he’s loyal – he’s been at Old Trafford for the whole of his professional career with seemingly no thoughts of leaving so would certainly be a role model for the players.

But has he enough experience?

What do you think?
