Rotherham United and Jeremiah Ani have parted company today after the twenty-five year olds months trial was up.

Ani has played just one game for the Millers in the month and that was in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy win over Lincoln City at Don Valley and now strikers Tom Pope and Ryan Taylor are ready for first team re-calls the club have said there is no room for the Nigerian born striker.

Chief Operating Officer, Paul Douglas told the Official Site, ‘We would like to thank Jerry for his efforts while he was with the club.

‘He has been a model professional while he’s been here but the club are not in a position to offer him a deal.’
