Rotherham United will be using their seventeenth different defensive combination on Friday night against high-fliers, Southend at Roots Hall.

Having had injuries and suspensions, Manager, Andy Scott knows what a hindrance they`ve been and bemoans that fact that he`s never really had a settled defence this season.

Speaking to the Football League Official Site, Scott said, ‘The fact of the matter is that we haven’t found the right solution but just because we keep changing the side doesn’t mean we won’t get it right. The teams up the top have been able to pick the same side and it’s that consistency in the whole side that we’re after and that is something that has to come.`

The Millers will definitely be without centre-half Michael Raynes for the trip to Roots Hall as he is suspended.
