Rotherham United striker, Adam Le Fondre‘s eighth league goal was a cracker!

It came from a Johnny Mullins throw in who saw the Millers` top scorer moving into the area alone. Alfie got the ball, gave a quick glance as to where the ‘keeper was, and, with the outside of his right foot, lifted the ball and let fly into the top of the net.

But, this isn`t a new move. Apparently, Reserve coach, Andy Liddell had a hand in it and Millers` Manager, Ronnie Moore told Les Payne of The Star, ‘Lids came up with the throw-in move which is something he`d been involved with earlier in his career and we worked on it on Friday in training.

‘But it was an absolutely fantastic strike from Alf and to get it in like he did was a touch of genius really.`
