Rotherham United’s goal machine, Adam Le Fondre says he doesn’t set himself personnel targets but said it was a ‘great feeling’ to get his fiftieth goal for the Millers on Tuesday night.

Speaking after the Millers two-nil win against Accrington Stanley at Don Valley, Alfie told Sky Sports, ‘It’s a great feeling to have hit fifty goals in such a short space of time. I don’t set personal targets but pride myself on being in the right place, at the right time and my goal-record hopefully speaks for itself. I am focused on doing my best for this club, my team-mates and the fans.

‘As a group we all believe that promotion is there for us this year and we are confident that we can go all the way. We always feel confident at home and now it’s just a case of converting some good away performances into results.’
