Rotherham United manager, Mark Robins, has been in charge at Millmoor for a year and says that he has loved every minute of it. He took over as caretaker boss on 1 March last year and was given the job on a permanent basis on 6 April.

Speaking to The Star, Robins said, ‘It’s been difficult at times, but that’s football management.’

After losing six of the last eight games, the gaffer was very critical of the team on Saturday saying ‘that wasn’t my team out there.’ But, he’s moved on now saying that you have to put things like that behind you.

‘It’s times like this that you have to look how you are doing things and re-visit things. We’ve had a blip, we have to pick up and what we do now has to be spot on. I mean, you don’t suddenly become a bad side overnight and hopefully things will be a lot different at the weekend.

‘I am hoping there is a brighter spot on the horizon.’
