Rotherham United will honour Keith Alexander tomorrow by having a minute’s applause before the game against Bradford City at Don Valley.

Tributes have come from all over the football community for Macclesfied boss Keith, who died on Tuesday night, after his side lost at Notts County.

Millers Manager, Ronnie Moore said of the fifty-three year old, ‘To have a minute’s applause for Keith is a fitting tribute to a great man and an excellent manager.’

Born in Nottingham, Keith spent the beginning of his career in the non-league but played for Grimsby, Stockport, Lincoln and Mansfield in the league. He managed Lincoln City twice, Ilkeston, Northwich Victoria, Peterborough and finally Macclesfield, whose game at Hereford, which will go ahead tomorrow, would have been his one hundreth game in charge.
