Rotherham United Nostalgia Society welcome former Miller Chris Dolby as their guest speaker at their November meeting which is tonight (Wednesday).

Dewsbury born Chris joined the Millers as a trainee and played a handful of cup games while making three league appearances off the bench and is widely believed to be the first Asian footballer to play in the Football League.

Apart from Rotherham Chris played for Denaby United, Matlock Town, Stocksbridge Park Steels, Hyde United, Alfreton, Bradford Park Avenue and Sheffield FC who he also went on to manage.

Chris is now the Club and Community Manager at Sheffield FC.

The meeting is at The Reach Club at Ferham where it is 8pm for an 8.30pm start.
