Rotherham United Nostalgia Society meet this evening at The Reach Club, Ferham when August’s guest speaker is Ryan Williams.

Born in Australia Ryan joined the Millers in June from 2017 and has gone on to make forty-eight appearances. He has scored four goals, the first coming in our five-nil home win over Southend and his last one being away in our one-all draw at Oldham in January.

Winger Ryan joined the Millers from neighbours Barnsley having spent from 2012 to 2015 on the books at Fulham. While with the Cottagers he had loan spells with Gillingham, Oxford United and Barnsley before he signed a permanent deal at Oakwell.

The now twenty-four year old has caps for Australia at U20 and U23 levels.  His Youth career was spent firstly with Australian side ECU Joondalup Soccer Club before he moved to England with Portsmouth who he played a handful of games for.

The meeting is tonight (Thursday) when it’s 8pm for 8.30pm.

All welcome!
