Rotherham United Nostalgia Society will be meeting TONIGHT (Thursday, 7th June), which is a week earlier than normal to accommodate this evening’s guest Graham Coughlan.

After being let go by neighbours Sheffield Wednesday, Graham joined the Millers in July 2007 playing forty-nine times in a Rotherham shirt, his last appearance being the final game at Millmoor in May 2008.

Born in Dublin Graham’s first football was played with League of Ireland side Bray Wanderers before he moved to England with Blackburn Rovers in 1995. After a loan spell with Livingstone the centre-back signed for them going on to play around fifty games.

In 2001 he was back in League football with Plymouth Argyle who he made over one hundred and eighty appearances for before moving to South Yorkshire and Hillsborough.

After leaving the Millers Graham joined Shrewsbury and then Southend, his last game for the Shrimpers being against the Millers at Don Valley in October 2011, when he came off the bench for the last ten minutes.

In 2013 Graham signed a deal to become first team coach at Roots Hall.

Tonight’s meeting is at the Reach Club at Ferham and it is 8pm for an 8.30pm start.

All Welcome!
