Rotherham United Nostalgia Society welcome Keith Bambridge as guest speaker tomorrow evening (Thursday).

Left-winger Keith was born in Rotherham and made over one hundred and seventy appearances for the Millers, his first being against Barnsley in 1956. He played in both legs of the first ever League Cup Final against Aston Villa.

His claim to fame as a Millers is probably scoring against both Sheffield sides! If asked I am sure he will also tell the story about his first game for the Millers away at Barnsley – when the stewards wouldn’t allow him in not believing that he was a player!

The meeting begins at 8.15 for an 8.30 pm start and is held at The Green Dragon, Kimberworth.

All Welcome!
