Rotherham United are in action at the New York Stadium on Tuesday night when  Marc Edwards from County Durham is the referee.

This is Marc’s first season refereeing in the EFL and the third time he has been in the middle for a Millers game, the first  being in October at the New York Stadium. The game was the Football League Trophy when Doncaster Rovers were the visitors. Rotherham went in front on eleven minutes with an own goal from Joe Wright with Kieran Sadlier equalising for the visitors twenty-six minutes later. Rovers went in front nine minutes into the second half when Wright made amends for his goal in the wrong net but goals from Carlton Morris and Trevor Clarke, making his Rotherham debut, saw the Millers win three-two.

The last time that Rotherham met Marc was in the League on Boxing Day at the Greenhous Meadow when the Millers travelled to Shrewsbury. Goalless at half-time Joe Mattock opened the scoring on the hour mark for the visitors with Aaron Pierre equalising six minutes later. The Millers brought all three points back to South Yorkshire with a goal seven minutes into time added on headed in by Michael Smith.

In the twenty-two games Marc has been in the middle for this season he has shown fifty-eight yellow cards and one red card.

Graeme Fyvie and Declan Ford have the flags on Tuesday night with Karl Evans the Fourth Official.
