Rotherham United make the long trek to Gillingham on Saturday where Lee Swarbey from Devon is the referee.

Lee came up through the ranks of refereeing starting in 2012 in the Blue Square Premier, joining the Football League Referees for the 2015/16 season.

This is just the second time Lee has been in charge of a Millers game the first being the first one being Rotherham’s first home league game of the season in August when Lincoln City were the visitors. The match ended two-nil to the visitors with an unfortunate own goal from Shaun MacDonald three minutes before half-time and a goal from Harry Anderson just after the start of the second half. MacDonald saw yellow in the game alongside his colleagues Matt Crooks, Kyle Vassell and Freddie Ladapo while former Miller Harry Toffolo and Joe Morrell were booked for the Imps.

Of the twelve games Lee has been in the middle for this season he has shown thirty-seven yellow cards and three red cards.

Running the line at the Priestfield Stadium are Stephen Brown and Mike Desborough with the Fourth Official being Christopher Wade,
