Rotherham United welcome Birmingham City to the New York Stadium on Saturday when Edward Duckworth from Preston has the whistle.
Ed started officiating at a young age, firstly at school, and first came to notice when he was the Fourth Official in the Ladies FA Cup Semi-Final between Manchester City and Arsenal in October 2020 which was played behind closed doors due to the Covid restrictions.
His first games were in the Lancashire Sunday League moving into non-league and stepping up to League football for the 2023/24 season where he was in the middle for thirty-three games.
This season Ed has shown fifteen yellow cards and one red in the four games he has been in charge of and is the first time he has been in the middle for a Millers game.
Running the line we have Marvyn Amphlett and Paul Stonier with Alan Young the Fourth Official.
