Rotherham United put the loss at home to Hull City on Tuesday night behind them by winning the lunch time kick-off game at the New York Stadium today against Millwall with Millers Manager Paul Warne even saying he believes it was the best performance of the season so far.

Well, it wasn’t a bad performance and I don’t think any Rotherham player had a poor game – there were some wayward passes, there were a couple of things that infuriated me but, all in all, it wasn’t a bad show from the boys in red and white.

The Sponsors at the game today gave goalscorer Sean Raggett the Man of the Match – but do you agree with them?

Personally, and I’ve mentioned wayward passes and he was guilty of a couple in the first twenty minutes or so today, but my Man of the Match would have gone to Ryan Williams who never stopped running – even when it looked a lost cause. He popped up here, there and every where today.

I can’t fault Semi Ajayi either who put his body in the way at both ends of the pitch. And what of the saves from Marek Rodak? What about skipper Richard Wood who I thought was solid today.

Michael Smith was great and worked out a way to get away from his marker in the second half, who had been pulling him, putting his arm in front of his face and fouling him all the first half. Yes, he missed a sitter but don’t all centre-forwards?

So, how would you rate the Millers players this afternoon?
