Rotherham United’s latest recruit Domingos Quina says he is excited to get started after joining the Millers on loan from Watford.

Having been recalled by the London club from Spanish side Elche to come to the New York Stadium, the twenty-three year old central midfielder was Matt Taylor’s last signing in the January window.

Speaking to the Official Site Domingos said it was ‘the manager and the project’ that brought him to Rotherham saying, ‘He believes in the players and that I bring something that can push things to the next level. I was surprised that he knows me well as a player.

He know I move about and that I can do something from nothing and I believe I can give the team something extra. It doesn’t matter what happens in a game I don’t stop running.

‘La Liga is different from the Championship. The Championship is more physical and La Liga more tactical so now I have to switch my brain back to Championship. I want to be involved in the next game but that’s up to the manager. I know it’s a big game and every player wants to play in a big game, especially a derby.

Having previously been on loan at Oakwell it would be obvious to think he would be used to the area and the weather and laughing, Domingos said, ‘I don’t think I’ll ever get used to this cold weather but I understand it’s my job to adapt. But as long as everybody is happy and I’m playing football then the weather doesn’t matter.’

Another player who speaks very well of the Manager and is here because of him. You can’t ask much more than that.
