Rotherham United welcome Stevenage to the New York Stadium on Saturday which sees the hosts in seventeenth place and the visitors four places higher.

The Millers come into this game on the back of two one-nil losses while the Boro have got three points from their last two games. At home last weekend Rotherham lost out to Wrexham who got a first minute goal while Stevenage’s last away game was a one-nil win at Mansfield.

This is a game that sees the two managers re-united with Steve Evans having left the Lamex Stadium to join Rotherham leaving former Miller, and Wembley hero, Alex Revell in charge.

Speaking to Radio Sheffield Millers Boss Steve Evans said that the Millers need to get back to finding ways to win some football matches before the international break saying, ‘Saturday will be tough. We built some of that team over three or four transfer windows and it’s a well organised unit who will do very well. But we have to be positive. The majority of our performances a the New York have been good. We then have Cheltenham (FA Cup) and then a battle away at Barnsley before we probably have an international break so it would be a wonderful time to get a couple of results before that break.

Jonson Clarke-Harris (hamstring), Jamie McCart (calf) and Sean Raggett (bone bruising) will be missing for the Millers but they have recalled young striker Ciaran McGuckin from his loan spell with Yeovil Town so it could be a possible start on the bench for the Northern Ireland U21 player.

Stevenage Manager Alex Revell says he will be ‘proud’ to stand opposite the man who promoted him from Youth Manager to First Team Coach telling The Comet that ‘ I’ll always be thankful to Steve and everyone above because of the decision they made which gave me back my love of football.

‘We know the strengths of Rotherham and we have to make sure we deal with those strengths and go there for us.’

Both  Carl Piergianni and Louis Thompson were yellow carded against Cambridge bringing their total to five each so both will miss this game. Dan Sweeney, Charlie Goode and Nathan Thompson are out injured while  Luther Wildin is a doubt.

The referee for this game is Sunny Singh Gill  from Wolverhampton.
