Rotherham United travel to take on Shrewsbury on Saturday which is twenty-first in the table taking on twenty-third.

Shrewsbury are yet to get a point throughout September while the Millers have had two draws, their last away game being a one-all draw with Charlton Athletic.

While the Millers come into this game on the back of a two-nil home defeat to high flying Birmingham City the Shrews last game was a two-one loss away against Mansfield Town, their last home game seeing them lose one-nil to Charlton.

Speaking to the Shropshire Star Shrews Manager, ex-Miller, Paul Hurst thought they missed a ‘big opportunity’ on Saturday saying, ‘They (Mansfield) had played in midweek, yes they changed the team, but I felt there was a real opportunity and first half we saw that. But, ultimately, I’m in charge of the team and I know the responsibilities that carries and I know we’ve got to try and change it somehow.’

There have been no new injuries reported from the Croud Meadow.

Millers Manager Steve Evans spoke to Radio Sheffield earlier today saying that he is disappointed of where Rotherham are in the league. ‘I’m not used to hearing Millers fans booing, I’m used to them being happy, so that’s hard to take personally. But performances in lots of games have been very good and my job is to make sure we keep working hard and keep confidence in the camp.

‘Shrewsbury can count themselves very unfortunate to have lost against Charlton and we need to be ready and we have to pick a team that will work hard for the cause tomorrow.’

The Millers have doubts over Jonson Clarke-Harris and Mallik Wilks who both came out of the game on Saturday with knocks while Zak Jules, Shaun McWilliams and Liam Kelly are all set to be on the side lines.

Sam Purkiss from London is the referee for this game.
