Rotherham United make the trip to Deepdale today to take on Preston North End who are just above mid-table in the Championship.

Paul Warne’s side are in the last relegation place with games in hand and come into this game on the back of a three-nil win at home to Derby. Their last away game saw them get a three-nil win over Middlesbrough.

The Lilywhites got a point in their last home game drawing nil-nil with Reading, while they lost one-nil at Hillsborough last weekend.

Preston will give a late fitness test to Sean Maguire although Alex Neil has no other fresh injury worries.

Alex Neil, the Preston Manager, told their Official Site that he doesn’t think anyone will have played the Millers this year and come away thinking it was an easy game. ‘They run, they press, they are aggressive and they are dangerous.’

Rotherham United will be without goalkeeper Jamal Blackman who is self-isolating but Viktor Johansson is an able deputy and it is thought this game will be too soon for Kieran Sadlier to play any part.

Millers Manager Paul Warne told the Official Site that his squad are in a confident place saying, ‘They (Preston) have some really good players in their team but so have we. We have to be at our very best and we’ll try to take the game to them.’

Gavin Ward from Surrey has the whistle for this game.
