Rotherham United make the trip to the City Ground this evening to take on a Nottingham Forest side who got their first points on the board at the weekend.

The Millers come to Nottingham on the back of a home loss which saw then drop down the table to seventeenth, though they are still three places above tonight’s opponents. Rotherham’s last away game was a one-all draw at Birmingham.

Nottingham Forest have lost both their home games so far this season but a late Joe Lolley goal saw their first win of the season away at Blackburn on Saturday.

Chris Hughton told their Official Site that he is looking forward to his first home game in charge of Nottingham Forest but is expecting a tough game saying, ‘Momentum is key. It is always wonderful if you can play expansive football and win that way, but you can’t always and however the wins come in this sequence of games is important.’

The hosts could be without Jack Colback tonight as he came off injured early in the second half on Saturday with Harry Arter taking his place. It could be that former Miller Lewis Grabban steps down with Forest starting with Lyle Taylor instead. Joe Worrall is definitely sidelined with a foot problem and it looks like  Fouad Bachirou and Tyler Blackett will also be missing.

Paul Warne told iFOLLOW that he expects an organised Forest team tonight and that he thinks they have the best front four in the division saying, ‘It was an excellent result for them at the weekend.’

Rotherham will still be without Manager Paul Warne who is still self-isolating at home and will also be missing Angus MacDonald who saw a straight red on Saturday against Norwich. Long term injured  Chiedozie Ogbene is out until next year and news yesterday is that there is another player who has a bad injury that will keep him out for some months, but the Gaffer is keeping who close to his chest. Some good news is that Matthew Olosunde should have recovered from a groin injury that has kept him out so far this season.

The man with the whistle for this evening’s game is Stephen Martin from Staffordshire.
