Rotherham United make the trip to West Yorkshire to take on Huddersfield Town at the John Smith’s Stadium for this weekends game.
Huddersfield are sitting in fourth place of League One which is thirteen places above the Millers are are sixteen points better off.
Town haven’t lost a league game since 1st October, their last home defeat being on 24th September to Blackpool and come into this game after a draw at home to Burton Albion at the end of December, their New Year’s Day game being called off.
The Millers last away game was a New Year’s Day win at Lincoln their last defeat away from home coming on 21st December at Mansfield.
Speaking to their Official Site Terriers Defender Nigel Lonwijk said that Huddersfield are doing well form wise, saying, ‘although we’ve had a few slow starts we are fighting for each other as a team. Rotherham United are very direct and physical and we need to match them.’
As well as a number of long term injuries Town will be without former Millers Danny Ward and Mickel Miller both out injured – Ward probably for the rest of the season – but Antony Evans and Joe Hodge could both be in the squad and although new signing Ruben Roosken hasn’t trained he could also be involved.
Rotherham United defender Zak Jules told the Official Site that the Lincoln result was much need for moral saying, ‘I think the fans are now probably seeing a team that are together and willing to fight for each other. The atmosphere after the game was unbelievable. Seeing the fans travelling in their numbers after an expensive period, to spend their hard earned money following us was amazing and singing the new song full voice was excellent. Hopefully there will be more of the same at Huddersfield. Hopefully they will be in full voice, we can be in full throttle and hopefully come back with three points. Huddersfield are having a decent season but we have to focus on what we need to do and to perform the best we can.’
Steve Evans will be without Sean Raggett for this game.
Alex Chilowicz is in the middle for this game.
