Rotherham United welcome Luton Town to the New York Stadium this evening for the next game in the Championship.

The Millers last home game was a three-nil win over neighbours Sheffield Wednesday although they lost one-nil away at Stoke City at the weekend.

Sitting around the middle of the table the Hatters come into this game on the back of a three-nil home loss to Brentford with their last away game being a one-nil win at Hillsborough.

Rotherham United’s Assistant Manager Richie Barker had nothing but good to say about Luton Town Boss Nathan Jones telling Radio Sheffield that he thought he did a massive job saving the Hatters from relegation when he came back for his second spell in charge. ‘Luton started the season really well although have had a wobble over the last week or so but that happens. It will be another very difficult game for us because they are technically very good, very comfortable in possession and are hard working.’

Long term injured pair Chieo Ogbene and Clark Robertson are still out and there is a doubt over Shaun MacDonald who limped off on Saturday at Stoke.

Luton Town Manager Nathan Jones told their Official Site that he was feeling ‘a little bit down’ after their three-nil home loss to Brentford at the weekend knowing that tonight’s game will be ‘tough’ saying, ‘Their whole eleven can cause problems.  They will have threats but we need our threats to play well.  Paul Warne is really well thought of at Rotherham and he’s a guy that players want to play for.’

The Hatters will be without Dan Potts who has had a groin operation but full backs Rhys Norrington-Davies, who left the pitch early with fatigue on Saturday and James Bree, who has been out with a knee problem, are both in contention for tonight but there is still some uncertainty as to whether Harry Cornick will be fit.

Andrew Madley from West Yorkshire is tonight’s referee.
