Rotherham United make the journey to Adams Park to take on Wycombe Wanderers this afternoon.

Sitting at the top of League One the Millers come into this game knowing they’ve a trip to Wembley already booked after a win in the Papa John’s Trophy away at Hartlepool on Wednesday night. Their last away league game was goalless at Shrewsbury with the game at home to MK Dons last weekend being a rare loss.

Wycombe are just outside the play-off places aided by a three-one win away at Crewe last Saturday. Their last home game also saw them score three goals when Cambridge were the visitors the last home loss being last month when Wigan were in town, the game before that being a ten goal thriller at Adams Park which saw both them and visitors Cheltenham get a point apiece.

The Chairboys will check Ryan Tafazolli after a head injury last weekend.

Paul Warne will be without Freddie Ladapo who is set to be sidelined for some time but it’s likely that Joshua Kayode will be back and could partner top scorer Michael Smith up front. Also back is Wes Harding who missed the last game due to suspension.

Speaking to the Official Site Millers Manager Paul Warne said that Wycombe are a team similar to Rotherham saying, ‘They are scoring goals for fun, so we’ll have to be at our defensive best to come away with anything. In every game you have to win the battle before you win the war and I’ll be telling my players if they’re not at their very best, Wycombe will find their weakness and they’ll punish you.’

The referee for this game is Devon’s Lee Swabey
