Rotherham United’s first home game of the new year sees Bolton Wanderers the visitors for a 1230 kick-off in front of the cameras.

After two away games – a win at Lincoln and goalless draw at Huddersfield – the Millers moved up to sixteenth in the League One table Wanderers being six places and nine points better off.

This will be Bolton’s third away game in a row – both ending two-one. The first being a loss at Mansfield before a win over Exeter last weekend.

Speaking to the Official Site Millers Manager Steve Evans said that the game against Bolton is ‘big’ saying, ‘You can see the ambition of Bolton Wanderers with them just spending a million and a quarter pounds on Joe Randall. But we are looking forward to the challenge.’

The Millers will be without the services of Sean Raggett.

Wanderers Manager Ian Evett told their Official Site that the aim on Saturday is to keep on the playing the way they have been but try to better the performances.

Kyle Dempsey will be missing for the visitors and looks like having a long lay off with a knee injury while Eoin Toal is another who won’t make this game but Josh Sheehan is back in training and could be in the travelling squad. New boy Joel Randall is also likely to be in the squad.

The referee for this game is Alan Young from Cambridge.
