Rotherham United make their way to the seaside tomorrow to take on Blackpool at Bloomfield Road.

Blackpool come into this game sitting in mid-table with twenty-three points while the Millers are three points behind them in eighteenth place.

The Millers got a two-one win at home to Lincoln City on Tuesday night with their last away game being in November at Crawley which the hosts won one-nil. Blackpool also got a two-one win in mid-week away at Shrewsbury, giving them back-to-back league wins, with their last home game seeing them get a point from a goalless draw with Northampton Town.

Injuries are stacking up for Blackpool but Manager Steve Bruce will be happy that Hayden Coulson, who has been out with a quod problem, is in contention to be in the squad and both  Ollie Norburn and Olly Casey are back after suspension.

Millers Manager Steve Evans is looking to add to the points tally at Blackpool, telling the Official Site that there is a ‘big chance’ to do that. ‘Steve Bruce has managed at all levels and I’ve done battle with him many times and there’s a huge mutual respect and his assistant Steve Agnew has been a friend for over thirty years. Steve has got the same fire in his belly as I’ve got and it’s to win a football match.’

Steve Evans is hoping to have Liam Kelly fit for Saturday’s game after recovering from illness but Esapa Osong will be missing until the New Year after a reoccurrence of a groin injury.

The referee for this game is Sebastian Stockbridge from Tyne and Wear.
