City Manager Michael O’Neill told Stoke City Live that he thinks Rotherham are a ‘hungry team’, saying, ‘They (Rotherham) are a promoted team and those players who have come up have a real point to prove. They like to press and make life difficult for the opposition.’

Rotherham United have a few knocks coming into this game after Wednesday night’s win which include skipper Richard Wood, striker Freddie Ladapo and Mickel Miller but all will be assessed before the game. Definitely out are long term injured pair Chieo Ogbene and Clark Robertson but back in contention is Angus MacDonald who has missed the last three games through suspension.

‘Stoke will be a tough game,’ Millers Manager Paul Warne told iFOLLOW, ‘they have quality all over the team. But so have we and, like them, we have the ability and desire to win. We have to take our chances, we have to be clinical and limit their chances.’

The referee for this game is Darren Bond from Lancashire.
