Rotherham United welcome Cheltenham Town to the New York Stadium coming into this game on the back of a late one-nil loss away at Fleetwood while a frozen pitch put paid to their game on Tuesday night and with others playing saw them drop to fourth in the table.

The Millers last played at home on New Years Day when the visitors were Bolton Wanderers with the hosts winning two-one. The Robins got a one-all draw at home to Charlton Athletic on Saturday and, like Rotherham, were thwarted late in injury time to stop them getting all three points. Their last away game was at the beginning of the year when they got a point away with another one-all draw at Oxford.

Rotherham United Manager Paul Warne spoke to the Official Site ahead of Saturday’s game saying that they are playing a Cheltenham side who are full of confidence – and new signings – saying, ‘Michael (Duff) and Russell (Milton) have done a really good job and after getting promotion they are now doing really well in League One. They play with five at the back which is difficult to break down.’

Up to now the Millers have a squad of fully fit players for Saturday which includes ‘want away’ striker Freddie Ladapo.

Charlton Manager Michael Duff says he knows ‘what’s ahead’ as they visit the Millers telling their Official Site, ‘They’re fit, they’re organised, they’re physical, they can play and you can see why they were in the Championship last year. We just need to be better than what we have been when we’ve gone up against better teams in the first half of the season.’

Michael Duff has brought in a few new faces in the transfer window and it could be that Ben Williams and Charlie Brown could make their debuts tomorrow with Charlie Colkett, on loan from Chelsea, Kion Etete, on loan from Spurs and Aaron Ramsey on loan from Aston Villa could also be in the travelling squad.

The referee for this game is Oliver Langford from the West Midlands.
