Rotherham United and Bromley are having a break from their respective league football this weekend when they meet in the first round proper of the FA Cup at the New York Stadium.

Coming into this game in third place in League One and on a run of ten unbeaten games the Millers last home game was a five-one victory over Sunderland.

The Ravens are doing equally well in the National League with nine games without loss on the trot and in fourth place with a game in hand on the three above them. Bromley’s last away game was a two-nil win at Woking, a game that was affected twice by floodlight failure.

Speaking to Radio Sheffield Millers Manager Paul Warne said that Bromley are a strong team saying, ‘they are all full time players who can play a bit. They can go direct, they have a good long throw and they are having a really good season. We are playing a really good in-form side and have got to be up for it.’

With this being Rotherham’s last game for a couple of weeks, due to international duties, Paul Warne will probably pick a strong starting eleven. A foot injury will keep Mickel Miller out of this game and Ben Wiles is a doubt with a sore foot.

Ravens Manager Andy Woodman told their Official Site that although he wants their fans to have a great day on Saturday he doesn’t want the same for his players saying, ‘I don’t want them to think they are just turning up thinking it is one of those games that we shouldn’t be here so we are just going to enjoy it. We are professional sportsmen and I want to make sure we give a really good account of ourselves. I want this football club to be in the next round draw of the cup. We are really focussed on this match.’

Declan Bourne  from Nottinghamshire is the Referee for this game.
